It is commonly found in products like baked goods, roasted nuts, and certain snack foods. While acrylamide is naturally present, high-temperature cooking can cause an increase in its concentration.

What is Proposition 65?

Proposition 65 was enacted by California in 1986 to protect consumers by informing them about their potential exposure to chemicals that may cause cancer, birth defects, or other reproductive harm. Over 900 chemicals are currently on the Prop 65 list, including acrylamide.

Where is Acrylamide Found?

How Does This Affect My Health?

Why Am I Seeing This Warning?

The Prop 65 warning is required by California law due to the presence of acrylamide in our products, even though the chemical occurs naturally. To comply with Prop 65 requirements, we include this warning on all products sold in California.
